Glary utilities is a good bunch of useful tools to clean and maintain user's system by means of a few clicks.
First window that this small application shows is the program status, for updating, registering, upgrading, etc.
The central tab allows the user to enter in another window for cleaning registry, managing the Windows startup process, removing spyware, etc. Once the selections are made, simply pressing the "Scan for issues" button the selected tasks are carried out. After every scan is made, if there are problems found, the application offers the user the capability of repairing them by pressing the Repair Problems button.
By selecting the Modules tab, the program shows five main utilities:
Cleanup and Repair: Disk and Registry cleaners, Shortcuts Fixer and Uninstall Manager.
Optimize and Improve: Startup Manager, Memory Optimizer and the useful Context Menu Manager.
Privacy and Security: Tracks Eraser (Internet history, cookies, ecidences, etc.), File Schredder (nobody could recover the deleted files), File Undelete (recovers files erased by accident), File Encrypter and Decrypter (encrypts the user selected files with a password and it can delete the original file once it is encrypted).
Files and Folders: Disk Analysis, Duplicate Files Finder, Empty Folders Finder, and File Splitter and Joiner (for making small files out of a big original file, so it can be easily handled, and recover the big file from the splitted ones).
System tools: Process Manager (it shows real time all the processes runing), Internet Explorer Assistant (monitors add-ons and restore malicious settings),
Windows Standard Tools: Check Disks, Defrag Disks, System Restore, System File Checker adn Backup).
The Menu tab can take the user to the Internet Home Page, the Help File, Restore Center, the Application Settings and the information about it. |
